Hey Guys, so sorry this is late, but I was travelling yesterday. I wont keep you waiting so:
Energising... Hey all, and welcome to my first toy review. Today I shall be reviewing Funko Pop's Star Trek Sheldon Cooper SDCC 2013 'transporting' exclusive. This is my first Funko Pop, and I already love them. This particular one is Dr Sheldon Cooper from 'The Big Bang Theory' in a Starfleet uniform, however as its a SDCC (San Diego Comic Con) figure, it gets better. A couple of weeks ago, I saw the new Robocop remake and its really good. Very good in fact.... But I wouldn't call it a 'Remake'. Here I will be going through some of the most major differences in 2 parts. Here is the first:
Hey, guys! After looking around the websites settings, I figured I should start using this and then I discovered I can do this...
Hey Guys! Its that time again, where I take a look at what's happened this week...and its not much. WHO'S ON IN SUMMER?Could we be seeing Capaldi sooner than we thought? We all thought we would have to wait until Autumn, but Ben Wheatley, director of the first two episodes of Series 8 says differently. Recently, he said: “I’ve got two more weeks shooting Doctor Who, which hopefully is going to go in July.” I may just be interpreting this wrong, but could we have a shorter wait than expected? I'm ironically uncertain about a show about Time Travel. NEW REBELAnother new character for Star Wars Rebels has been revealed. Ezra, a 'Force Sensitive' con artist comes from the planet Lothal, with no interest in joining the Rebel Alliance. Despite this, he gets drawn into them, where he meets and is then trained by Kanan, a Jedi who apparently survived Order 66. Notice he is only called 'Force Sensitive' and not specifically called a Jedi. I personally am looking forward to Star Wars Rebels and cant wait to find out more. Hope you've had a good week, and lets hope next week is either just as good or better. Also, lets hope there a lot of good news to come next week too.
AARGHHH!!! Disney's new game, Where's my Mickey? has been out for a while now, but it recently became Apple's Free App of the Week. Being a big fan of the past games, Where's my Water?, its sequel and Where's my Perry? I thought I would give it a try. Its great, don't get me wrong. But its highly addictive. Its all about trying to get the water to mickey to perform some kind of task, e.g.: making Lemonade. I highly recommend it and hope you enjoy it BUT BE WARNED! Its highly addictive. NEW 3.75 CAPALDIThe second wave of 3.75 figures have had the promotional pictures released. This new wave consists of a regenerated Capaldi, a new(ish) Clara, 2 new Daleks, another Weeping Angels, a Zygon and a tweed jacket version of Matt Smith. For the most part, despite being a 5 Inch collector, I still think these look good and will definitely be picking up a few of these. ROBOCOP RELEASEDThe new Robocop has been released and having already seen it I think its very good and definitely worth checking out. It is rather different than the original, however, but it is still a good film I will be posting some points about it soon. Thanks for listening guys and I hope your weeks been great. News wise, there isn't much too talk about, but they may be more next week.
Hailing Frequencies open guys, its time for Weekly Roundup. Every week I shall summarise all the most important Sci-Fi news pieces of the week CAPALDI'S COSTUMETo start us off, the costume to be worn by Peter Capaldi in Series 8 of Doctor Who was revealed on Monday. Moffat certainly wasn't joking early the same day when he said costume hints were coming soon. The costume is really very simple, but I like that and the red lining is really reminiscent of Pertwee. He's also rocking a great cardigan, which makes me wonder if Clara has a spare bow-tie one for him. REBELS GET GRUMPYA new character has been revealed for the new animated series, Star Wars Rebels. Its a new Astromech droid named C1-10P, otherwise know as Chopper. Said to be Lazy, Cranky and most of all Grumpy, it goes against most things an Astromech droid would do but I presume its probably kind hearted, just misunderstood...then again he may not. Although I'm sure it'll be great to see what happens if it and C3-P0 ever get in an argument. Who would win? TOY FAIR TURTLE TERRORYes, images of the action figures based of Michael Bay's TMNT film have leaked from Toy Fair. The Mikey one does seem to match the Halloween costume that was leaked last weak. And yes, the 'turtles' (if I can call them that anymore) are wearing clothes. Not just bandannas...actual human clothes. I wont put the pictures up as Paramount will probably ask them to be removed but they are out there on the internet. However the image only shows Mikey, Donnie and Raph. I guess they are just saving my favourite turtle, Leo, for a later disappointment. Hope you've enjoyed this first segment and I hope to do this every week to keep you all up to date.
